We came on a deal we thought was too good to be true! It was everything we wished for and more! Even on a busy night manager Ben was excellent! Running front of the house and helping serve to keep things moving along nicely! Abbie was excellent making sure our food and drinks were really good!

Absolutely — here’s a punchier version with all the flavour, less of the waffle (well, unless you’re ordering dessert): ⸻ A Bella Night Out! We went to Bella Italia in York to celebrate our daughter getting into Elmhurst (yes, the ballet one — proud parent moment!), and it was everything we hoped for. Alice and Abbie were absolute stars — warm, funny, and made us feel like VIPs from start to finish. Service was spot-on, food was delicious (the food deserves an award), and the whole place had such a feel-good vibe we almost started doing pirouettes at the table. Big thanks to the Bella team for making our celebration extra special — and to Alice and Abbie: you’re legends. Bravo! Will return — probably with stretchy trousers next time.

I cannot thank you enough for our lunch earlier this week. Less than a week ago our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease. It's been a huge shock to us all and it's definitely a new way of life. From the second we arrived with you (we mentioned it on the booking) we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome or comfortable! The man that greeted us was lovely. Even the added touch of adding an allergen aware bottle was fully appreciated. Also the flag in the meal itself was great! There was lots and lots of choice for her on both the main menu and the dessert menu! Thank you to each and every one of who made our first official gluten free meal amazing, stress free and relaxed! It was delicious. We really enjoyed it and cannot thank you enough for our experience! Fully enjoyed the new addition of Spinach and Ricotta cannelloni for myself too! I wish you all the best and we are already booked to be back!

Fantastic value for money! I had dough balls, pepperoni pizza and cream egg cookie dough for dessert. The food was all good, especially the dessert, and the service from Connie was exemplary, she is a real gift to this branch and must be looked after!

We came for my grandad’s 93rd birthday today. The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Connie our waitress was amazing with our dietary requirements and the birthday. She arranged a happy birthday surprise for my grandad.

Review 18th Sept. 2024 "Bella Italia" Clifton Moor, York I have reviewed Bella Italia before, but not this one. With such excellent service, it's no problem to add a review. We enjoyed the decor. It's modern with a hint of the industrial and it is pleasantly lit with a modern ambience. As always, the food was excellent and we received friendly and fantastic service. Overall, yet another fabulous visit, and we hope to return next year. I'm so glad we are regulars at Bella Italia. Thank you, Sara, for looking after us.
